Claire Slaven and her husband Rob were absolute angels on Earth at our wedding reception! They were incredibly helpful at every step of the journey, and helped far beyond the scope of what we were expecting from our photographers.

They talked out our goals with us well in advance, and helped us to really slow down and think about the moments that we wanted captured on our special day. They arrived early, and immediately went to work capturing candids as we were getting ready. I'm so glad they did, because some of my favorite moments from that day were in that little room before the ceremony even started.

As if that wasn't impressive enough, family photos took it over the edge for me! We have some extremely stubborn personalities in our family that had STRONG ideas of what they wanted. Claire made everyone feel heard, but gently controlled the narrative to give everyone a version of what they were demanding, while keeping everything within a narrow timeline.

Then Claire and Rob worked their magic on the dance floor! They were right there anytime one of the colorful characters at our celebration did something worth capturing. There are some truly epic dance-floor candids that are absolutely priceless!

It was truly masterful to watch, and our families still talk about the sweet woman with the tattoos and her husband that made our special day even more special.
